Announcing Offseason Clinics – Registration Coming Soon!

VFA will once again host offseason training for players who wish to develop and improve their skills ahead of the Spring 2027 season. We are excited to offer this opportunity to receive small-group training led by experienced VFA coaches and instructors to all of our athletes.

Training will be offered in two multi-week sessions: Fall (October – December 2026) and Winter (January – March 2027). Although players are welcome to sign up for only one session or the other, the Winter session may build on skills developed in the Fall session and Fall session registrants may receive preferred access to register for the Winter session.

VFA will offer:

Skills Clinics, focusing on developing core softball skills for U9, U11, U13C, U15C, U17C, and U20C players. Players will receive technical instruction in hitting, base running, throwing, and fielding to improve consistency, enhance performance, and support long-term development. Players should bring whatever equipment they have (e.g. glove, helmet, bat, batting gloves) to skills clinics.

Pitching Clinics, providing age and level appropriate pitching instruction to U9 through U19/U20 (B and C) players. All pitchers MUST bring someone to catch for them (parent, sibling, friend, teammate, etc.). Pitchers and their catchers must bring their own gloves.

Catching Clinic, all-ages catching instruction for U9, U11, U13C, U15C, U17C, and U20C players. Catchers must bring their own gloves. Catching gear will be provided to registrants if they don’t have their own.

Monday Pitching Clinics

Location: Carnarvon Elementary School

Dates: October 19, 26, Nov 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, Dec 7 (8 Sessions)

Registration Fee: $145

6:15 - 7:00 PM -- U9 Pitching

7:00 - 7:45 PM -- U11 Pitching

7:45 - 8:30 PM -- U13 Pitching

8:30 - 9:15 PM -- U15 Pitching

9:15 - 10:00 PM -- U17+ Pitching

Wednesday Catching Clinics

Location: Carnarvon Elementary School

Dates: October 14, 28, Nov 4, 18, 25, Dec 9 (6 Sessions - No Session Oct 21, Nov 11, Dec 2)

Registration Fee: $110

Time: 6:00 - 6:45 PM -- All Ages Catching

Thursday General Skills & Pitching Clinics

Location: Carnarvon Elementary School

Dates: October 1, 8, 15, 29, Nov 5, 12, 19, Dec 3, 10 (9 Sessions - No Session Oct 22, Nov 26)

Registration Fee: $165

6:00 - 7:00 PM -- U9 General Skills

7:00 - 7:45 PM -- U11 Pitching

7:45 - 8:30 PM -- U13 Pitching

8:30 - 9:15 PM -- U15 Pitching

Saturday General Skills Clinics

Location: Stratford Hall Large Gym

VFA Debuts New Website

VFA is excited to announce that the new online home for Vancouver Fastpitch is now live at vancouverfastpitch.com. Although still under construction, this fresh look aligns with our association’s new name (farewell, VMSA!) and features VFA’s recently upgraded branding, simpler navigation, and up-to-date information about upcoming events, like Rep tryouts and fall clinics. Check it out for a preview of what's to come!

We’ll continue to work throughout the offseason to make this website a central hub for information about VFA’s programs and resources ahead of the Spring 2027 season. Due to the magnitude of the project, revising and completing updates will take some time.
